Earth Day 2020 is on Wednesday April 22nd.
Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries.
This Earth Day it is our hope that all caterers, food & beverage sellers consider the environmental impact of the containers their food is sold in and make efforts where possible to reduce or completely eliminate plastic waste and plastic bag use.
Since January we have committed to selling only Eco-friendly disposable takeaway containers including takeaway coffee cups, lids, stirrers, soup containers, burger boxes, sandwich bags, plates & cutlery.
